Skinpen® Microneedling

Microneedling, otherwise known as Collagen Induction Therapy, is a skin rejuvenating procedure that dramatically improves acne scars, stretch marks, uneven skin tone and aging skin.

why we love it

Micro-needling or collagen induction therapy is a minimally invasive technique to treat various scars, wrinkles, and large pores on your skin. Micro-needling uses needles to puncture hundreds of tiny holes in your skin. The tiny pricks push the skin into healing mode and stimulate collagen and elastin production. The collagen produced improves the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, pores, and scars by plumping the skin from underneath. The tiny holes caused by the micro-needling process are called micro-channels which allow your skin to absorb skin care products. The skin care products penetrate the skin through micro-channels and are absorbed into the deeper layers of your skin, giving you astounding results.

Take your skin to the next level

  • Mirconeedling + Hydrafacial®  A match made in skincare heaven! Maximize your Microneedling results by combining it with our Signature Hydrafacial! When combining these two treatments, the results are amplified due to the deep cleansing and detox you receive before your needling session! This combo is perfect for clients who are looking to shrink their pores and have tighter, smoother skin.

  • PRP Facial + Microneedling A PRP facial uses the technique of microneedling to deliver Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) to the deeper layers of your skin. Microneedling improves the appearance of skin on its own. When PRP is applied together with microneedling, the results are stunning — your skin will look smoother, your complexion will improve, signs of aging will diminish, acne scars will fade, fine lines will soften and your face will glow with a youthful radiance.

the treatment

The micro-needling procedure starts with a consultation with trained health care professionals who will determine whether you are an ideal candidate for the procedure or not. Your allergies, and present medical condition will be reviewed to ensure that you are an ideal candidate. A skin analysis will be conducted to decide the treatment plan and the number of treatments you will need.

Your medical Aesthetician will recommend specific skincare guidelines to you prior to, and following your treatment. These include the use of topical retinoids, sun exposure and precautions with pregnancy. A full series of treatments, spaced 3 to 4 weeks apart, is recommended to see optimal results, yet most patients see improvement in as little as three treatments.

So happy that I found this gem! Katie did a hydrofacial and educated me on proper skin care. I was using Dermalogica and my skin was breaking out horribly. I went home with a new face regimen from Magnolia Med Spa and LOVE how my skin looks now! It feels great and the breakouts have cleared up. I'm looking forward to my next facial next month!
