Microneedling, otherwise known as Collagen Induction Therapy, is a skin rejuvenating procedure that dramatically improves acne scars, stretch marks, uneven skin tone and aging skin.

Your skin’s appearance can have a dramatic affect on your self-esteem. Our battle with acne from our youth may still haunt us in the form of acne scarring. And premature fine lines and wrinkles may make us look older than we actually feel. Microneedling is a minimally invasive treatment that can address ALL of these concerns and more, while leaving your skin smooth and healthy with virtually no downtime!

Micro-needling or collagen induction therapy is a minimally invasive technique to treat various scars, wrinkles, and large pores on your skin. Micro-needling uses needles to puncture hundreds of tiny holes in your skin. The tiny pricks push the skin into healing mode and stimulate collagen and elastin production. The collagen produced improves the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, pores, and scars by plumping the skin from underneath. The tiny holes caused by the micro-needling process are called micro-channels which allow your skin to absorb skin care products. The skin care products penetrate the skin through micro-channels and are absorbed into the deeper layers of your skin, giving you astounding results.

Prior to Microneedling, your treatment area will be numbed with a topical agent to ensure comfort during your procedure. Your Licensed Aesthetician will apply a hydrating serum to your skin as she glides the SkinPen over your areas of concern. Our patients find the treatment completely comfortable and some even describe the sensation as a mild “tickling” or “prickling” feeling.

After your treatment your skin may be slightly red for up to 3 days. For most patients, this redness subsides within 24 hours. Once your topical numbing has worn off, you may feel a slight tingling sensation, like a sunburn or windburn. You can resume wearing makeup the day after your treatment, making it an easy procedure to fit into anyone’s social calendar!

Your Face Cosmetic Skincare Aesthetician will recommend specific skincare guidelines to you prior to, and following your treatment. These include the use of topical retinoids, sun exposure and precautions with pregnancy. A full series of treatments, spaced 3 to 4 weeks apart, is recommended to see optimal results, yet most patients see improvement in as little as three treatments.

Our deluxe options include:

Mirconeedling/Hydrafacial®: A match made in skincare heaven! Maximize your Microneedling results by combining it with our Signature Hydrafacial! When combining these two treatments, the results are amplified due to the deep cleansing and detox you receive before your needling session! This combo is perfect for clients who are looking to shrink their pores and have tighter, smoother skin.

PRP Facial/Microneedling: A PRP facial uses the technique of microneedling to deliver Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) to the deeper layers of your skin. Microneedling improves the appearance of skin on its own. When PRP is applied together with microneedling, the results are stunning — your skin will look smoother, your complexion will improve, signs of aging will diminish, acne scars will fade, fine lines will soften and your face will glow with a youthful radiance.

The micro-needling procedure starts with a consultation with trained health care professionals who will determine whether you are an ideal candidate for the procedure or not. Your allergies, and present medical condition will be reviewed to ensure that you are an ideal candidate. A physical examination will be conducted to decide the treatment plan and the number of treatments you will need.
