Treatment Plan

  • Let us know your skin concerns so we can select the best peel for you.
  • In preparation for treatment day, please have skipped any active ingredients such as retinols or our custom compound for at least three days.
  • We’ll apply the peel in-office and send you home with aftercare instructions
  • You will begin to peel the afternoon of day two, and will peel from 2-5 days depending on the strength of the peel.
  • We provide a post-treatment kit to help skin heal for the next 2-3 days.

Pre-Treatment Guidelines
What to avoid prior to your visit
  1. Consultation: Have a thorough consultation with a licensed skincare professional to determine your skin type, concerns, and suitability for the peel.
  2. Avoid Certain Products: Refrain from using exfoliating agents, such as retinoids (like Retin-A), glycolic acids, salicylic acids, or any other strong exfoliants at least 3-5 days before the peel.
  3. Discontinue Waxing: If you are prone to waxing or other hair removal methods on the face, avoid this for at least a week prior to your peel.

Post-Treatment Guidelines
Recommendations after visit
  • Avoid Direct Sunlight: Stay out of direct sunlight and avoid tanning beds. Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) if you must be outside.
    Gentle Cleansing: Use a mild, non-abrasive cleanser. Avoid exfoliating or scrubbing the treated area.
  • Moisturization: Apply a gentle, hydrating moisturizer to keep the skin from becoming too dry or tight.
  • Do Not Pick or Scrub: Avoid picking at scabs or peeling skin to prevent scarring and irritation.
  • Limit Skin Care Products: Refrain from using products containing active ingredients like retinoids, glycolic acid, or other exfoliants until your skin has fully healed, usually about a week.
  • Avoid Heat: Stay away from hot baths, saunas, or intense workouts that can induce sweating for at least 48 hours post-treatment.
  • Hydration: Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated from the inside out.
